Update: 3.5" Capacitive screen. Update: ** Ah who are we kidding, you know sure as sunshine that we're going to have this ** - Title changed to "Next Gen Nationite S:Flo...." Update: We have real pictures of the device, its not on paper, the device is in the final stages of being tested by the factory ** Visit the forum thread for more updates and pictures of the real player. This is just one very impressive player, well at least on paper. The T51 is not a normal player, sure it looks similar to the older T50/S:Flo, but the internals on this machine are just jaw dropping. The T51 will have at its core the new Rockchip RK2806 chip, capable of supporting HD video playback (1280x720) and supporting 720p AVI, H.264 (MKV) and RMVB. Meizu M8 gets disected (and not by me)

December 6, 2008 by Raz in Hardware News, Meizu with No Comments.

A guy over at CNMO, a Chinese tech site, has gone and taken apart his new Meizu M8, yes i know there are many Meizu fanboys crying their eyes out at seeing this butchering, but it does help to demonstrate the hi quality build of the M8 itself. Anyone that has taken apart one of those CECT phones will know that most China mobile phones, although are built well, look no way as clean or professionally built as the M8 does. Just one thing to point out, that the images don't highlight is the wolfson audio chip visable when they are showing the samsung nand chip. Much more images here Discuss on our forums Via Engadget

It has potential, Teclast have put some thought into the hardware of this player. They have used the latest AMOLED SCREEN that is supposed to be the bees knees in screen technology and is also used by big companies like Samsung and IRiver. They have also decided on a separate chip for audio, the Wolfson WM8987 , this is supposed to give better audio than using the built in one on the players main chip (Rockchip RK2706) So, all the hardware is there to make this a great player, not to mention an expensive one, all this stuff ain't gonna come cheap, a
