The N5 MID, which has been eagerly awaited from recognised Korean maker Viliv, was reported as being delayed to some point in June and, surely enough, the MID has showed up at Computex and, quoting from the video, is supposed to be hitting shelves in around "2 weeks" with full pricing information to be unvilived unveiled then. The video above doesn't show the Viliv N5 in action, but you get a sense of scale of its UMPC form factor and a quick glimpse at the Windows XP Home OS. Apparently the Viliv N5 might also be coming in two flavours - one with 3G and one without, so expect pricing to differ on those fronts if that speculation proves true.

From Shenzhen comes this VIA C7-1.0GHz powered 5.6 inch touchscreen MID. Judging by the pics it looks nice enough, has 1GB of RAM, 6GB SDD, 2 USB ports and a 1.3 megapixel camera.
The screen’s 800 x 480 resolution, it weighs 410g and costs $421.

Chinese firm Jinbo have launched a 5 inch Windows XP Mobile Internet Device.
It runs a 1.1GHz Atom Z510 processor, has 1 GB of DDR2 RAM and 16GB of storage.
Also onboard is a 0.3 megapixel webcam, 2 USB ports and a US15E 128MB integrated graphics chip.
Design-wise it looks more functional than fancy and you'd hope it's functional at the huge price of 2950 yuan / $580.

Soyea's latest is the Z5 MID, a pretty solid looking device with more than passable specs.
It has a 1.2HGz Z515 processor, 1 GB of RAM, a 5 inch WVGA touchscreen, Windows XP/Linux option, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, WiFi and 3G.
The Z5 comes with with 8GB SSD which can be expanded via microSD. Also onboard are mini USB and VGA ports, stereo speakers, optical mouse, mouse buttons and a webcam.
While the stats are expected the shocking thing about this MID is the price, namely 5,999 yuan, a whopping $878.

Another potential gem from China comes in the form of the Tainell T500, their latest high spec Intel Atom-powered effort.
The T500 runs Windows XP on a 1.1GHz Atom Z510 processor and has 1GB of RAM. Within the 6.1” x 3.5” x 1.0” shell lies the 5 inch touchscreen which runs at the impressive resolution of 1024 x 600. Also onboard is a 23GB SSD, VGA webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G.
On top of all that there's also USB and miniUSB ports, audio in and out jacks and an HDMI output port.

Hong Kong has been hit with the latest Viliv, the X70 EX Premium Internet Tablet with optional 3G.
It is powered by a 1.3GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, 1GB RAM, a 32GB SSD and a SDHC slot for extra storage. The display is a 7” touchscreen with 1024 x 600 resolution. The OS is Windows XP and it also sports WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and GPS. It is currently bothering wallets for around $890 US.

The Intel powered BenQ MID S6 is now finally available and comes built equipped with Windows XP Home Edition.
The MID features a 4.8 inch high-resolution touchscreen display, built in 3.5G and Wi-Fi connectivity and has embedded VoIP functionality as well as doubling as a digital photo frame.
