Zol are at it again, those busy bees, with another seven player summary - this time, instead of the 5-inch players they did last time, they are comparing and summarising 7-inch players. If you're in the market for this size, then reading this will definitely give you a heads-up on some of the popular players out there on the market. This summary again comes complete with tabulated specs for each player, good quality photographs and generally tells you everything you need to know sans a video review.
The seven players compared are the RAmos T18; the Newman A70HD; the Bmorn BM-996SHD; the Onda VX797HD; the Chuwi M70 Plus; the ONN V9; and the Gemei HD970. Of all these players, only 2 (the RAmos T18 and the ONN V9) are 1080p video playback capable. Read the full rundown to get a feel fo
Well i finally got round to doing the VX797HD video review, as you can see this is one big player, it has a huge 7.0" screen, it is larger than the Chuwi M70 Plus, but the VX797HD is a bit thinner and more slick looking.
I really want to stress that this would make for one awesome video player, it is inexpensive considering its size, screen resolution and its ability to play high res videos. Also there are now more and more third party programs (like eBook reader and PDF reader) that are adding the functionality to this player - i mean reading an eBook or PDF on a 7.0" screen is something that even i could see my self doing.

Massive would be an understatement, the Chuwi M70PlusĀ is massive, the Onda VX797HD is monstrous. Onda new and by far the largest player they have ever released, is a CC1600 media chip based player, with a large 7.0" high res (800x480) screen. This isn't the first time we have seen such a player, the Chuwi M70 Plus is pretty much the same player but with a more compact (in comparison to the VX797HD) body.
This is honestly one player that we really have no proper mail packing for, those who have owned any of Onda 4.3" player know how big the packing those players come in, the VX797HD packing is just ridiculous, oversized for an oversized player.
The Onda VX797HD is very similar to any other CC1600 player, so really there is little point in us giving any sort of detailed r
Onda sent out the first image of their new VX797HD player, the device will use the CC1600 media chip, but it will have a huge 7.0" 800x480 resolution screen, by far the largest screen sized player that Onda has ever released. The player will also come with its own remote and will also have TV out. Like other CC1600 based players, this will be able to play videos in a resolution upto 1280x720 and support multiple audio and video formats.
