The last few Venus products featured here have been the NES-emulating JXD1000 and JXD300 MP5 players.
This time around the PSP-inspired design has been dropped for a straightforward standard player with a 3 inch 400 x 240 screen and 4GB of memory.
The biggest pull of this player seems to be their hyped but not shown interface and the budget price of just under $40.

No-name game machines are not usually the most exciting things but the Chinese Venus JXD300's PSP-stylings, GBA & NES compatibility and impressive video capabilities make it a little more noteworthy.
The JXD300 has a 3-inch screen and supports RMVB, RM, AVI, VOB, DAT, MPG and FLV at resolutions up to 1280 x 720.
Also onboard is a TV-OUT, a 2 megapixel camera, FM radio, digital recording (4G – up to 200 hours), MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC and more audio supported, e-book reader and a customisable interface among much more.
There's no price information but with this piece of kit you could flick between a NES emulation of Super Mario and the Mario movie with ease. Ok, maybe the PSP GO's just got the edge on this one...
