May 28, 2010 by HS in Ainol, Gemei, Onda, Ramos, Teclast with No Comments.

The good people over at zol have done a comparison review article on 5 popular 1080p players, arguably some of the heavyweights on the market.  Among the 5 players compared there is the RAmos T13FHD, the Ainol V9000HDA, the Onda VX575, Gemei HD8800 and last but not least the Teclast T56. From the video performance to the UI, picture viewer and e-reader functionality are all compared and noted upon, with the advantages and disadvantanges of each commented on, the comparison article proves useful for those who are embroiled in a battle of which PMP player to choose. Ainol V9000HDB: 4.3-Inch 480×272

May 19, 2010 by HS in Ainol, PMP with No Comments.

The triple threat of the Ainol V9000 series has seen the V9000HDG 5-inch player, the V9000HDA 4.3-inch player, and culminates with the V9000HDB 4.3-inch player but with a screen resolution of 480x272 (the HDA has a screen resolution of 800x480).  Like the other two in the V9000 family, the V9000HDB uses the Sochip SC9800 chip, capable of decoding up to 1280p (1920×1280) and supporting the video formats MKV, MP4, MPG, DAT, MOV, TS, TP, M2TS, PMP, 3GP, FLV, WMV, ASF etc. Since the SC9800 is a powerful chip and produces excellent video playback performance and quality, this player is expected to have more of that goodness. Further specs include support for audio formats MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, FLAC, AAC, OGG, AMR, AC3, MP2, RA etc., support for image formats JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, abilit

I did a video review of the new V9000HDA and Hugo has done a review of the new V9000HDG. Get a Ainol player today (that just sounds wrong).

Ainol V9000HDA Video Review

May 7, 2010 by Raz in Ainol with 3 Comments.

The screen on this is fantastic! The video playback on this is very good! Those are the two main feature of this player and both make it well worth the price. I was surprised to see how well Ainol products have developed as well as their implementation of practical user interfaces for the Sochip processor. I am quite impressed with this unit and the UI does allow it to be considered a all round player BUT first and foremost, this should be considered for its video playback and high quality screen. The Ainol V9000HDA is available in white and black aswell as in 8GB and 16GB of internal memory. Check out the new Ainol Players

A look at Ainol V9000HDA UI

The people over at iMP3 have taken the time to take shots of the new Ainol V9000HDA user interface. The V9000HDA uses the latest SoChip processor, but unlike other players using the chip, the V9000HDA is the first touch screen based Sochip player with a totally different looking UI. I will concede and say that the screen on this player looks pretty good. Check out the rest of the user interface shots at iMP3

Ainol V9000HD Triple Threat

December 1, 2009 by Tom in Ainol with 3 Comments.

Ainol have released not one, not two but three models in their full HD touchscreen V9000HD series at the same time! The V9000HDA has a 4.3 inch 800 x 480 display, the V9000HDB sports a 4.3 inch 480 x 272 display and the V9000HDG’s rocking a 5 inch 800 x 480 display. If the UI’s as potentially sexy as the SoChip SC9800 using HDX, aka ‘Megatron’ then these should be equally as cool. See after the jump for a file support chart and more.
