The folks over at zol have compared and summarised, complete with pictures and tabulated specs, 7 popular 5-inch players on the market today. Their rationale for doing so is that 5-inch players will soon overtake 4.3-inch players as the industry leading standard in terms of quality and desirability, particularly when we keep in mind that newer and better chips are able to better decode 1080p videos at 800x480 resolution. The devices compared are the RAmos T13FHD; the Onda VX575; the Gemei S6000; the Ainol V8000HDS; the Newman A16HD; the Bmorn BM-889; and the ICOO E900P. All of these players are capable of decoding 1080p video with the exception of the Newman A16HD and the Bmorn BM-889 which can do only 720p. If you're in the market for a 5-inch player, this might be the roundup to help
The good people over at zol have done a comparison review article on 5 popular 1080p players, arguably some of the heavyweights on the market. Among the 5 players compared there is the RAmos T13FHD, the Ainol V9000HDA, the Onda VX575, Gemei HD8800 and last but not least the Teclast T56. From the video performance to the UI, picture viewer and e-reader functionality are all compared and noted upon, with the advantages and disadvantanges of each commented on, the comparison article proves useful for those who are embroiled in a battle of which PMP player to choose.

If you haven't yet heard, the new firmware (the one that is boosting flash capability on the RAmos T13FHD player) was released a few days ago and is available for download here. Grab it.
And a small word of advice, when you want to exit a flash game, just quick press the power button. Unfortunately this tip is in the manual but only in Chinese.
This was posted first on the forums and you can discuss it here as well as read other people's experiences.
Recently a member on the forums pointed out that RAmos would be improving their flash support with a firmware boost for the T13FHD player, and iMP3 has reported on some of the usage of this beta 3.9 firmware version, while firmware version 4.0 is rumoured to come out next week. The folk over at iMP3 say that the new beta version does add much support for touchscreen flash games, and that playability has become much higher, but because of the beta nature of this firmware some games error with a variety of reasons, including not being able to support full-screen flash. Hopefully when the official non-beta version of the firmware is released it will resolve these issues.

Though the news is a little old, and spotted by a forum member a few days ago, an upcoming firmware for the T13FHD is supposed to boost the flash performance on these players, something that has previously dogged them slightly with their Amlogic processors. The firmware upgrade should provide a boost in performance of SWF games which is never unwelcome.

The new RAmos T13FHD is now in stock, we have the 8GB version in right now and in a white back cover, i don't know if a 16GB or alternative color version will be released.
The RAmos T13FHD uses an Amlogic SoC, if you're wondering why that name sounds familiar, it's because its the same brand chip we have in our new Nationite HDVP-2. Like the HDVP-2, the T13FHD is a very good video player, capable of decoding videos that are upto 1080p and supports video out upto 1080p resolution.
The touch screen interface uses a resistive touch panel, 5.0" 800 x 480 screen and is coupled with a UI based on flash, however unlike other flash based UI's i have seen, the T13FHD is a bit more clunky and scrolling is not as smooth. This is made up for by the very good video playback as well as the ve
iMP3 looks to have got their hands on a new RAmos T13FHD and have snapped a few pictures for everyone to see.

The new Amlogic based touch screen player from RAmos has been finally opened up. The player is soon to be released in China and many people are eagerly awaiting its availability. The RAmos T13FHD can support 1080p decoding as well as 1080p video out through its HDMI port. The 4.3" touch screen player will also have a 800x480 resolution screen, my hope is that RAmos will use the same quality screen that is on the T17FD.

The RAmos T13FHD is the latest touch screen based PMP from RAmos, the player runs on a Amlogic media processor and will have a flash based UI.
The latest promo images released for this player show it to have a similar intergace to that of the T11RK. With the UI being flash based, it could be possible that RAmos is just porting their UI from the T11RK to this player but making slight modifications.

RAmos is yet again releasing a new player, their new T13FHD is set to be a 5.0" touch screen player that will use the same AMLOGIC processor as the T17FHD. Having used the T17FHD i can say that the amlogic processor is quite good at video playback, so we can expect this new player to also be quite good for video playback.
If we are to believe these initial renderings, then the player will have a similar interface to that of the RAmos T11TE, i speculate that this player may be a flash driver UI, therefore RAmos would just be porting the flash UI from the T11TE over to this new player.
The player will be able to play quite a lot of video formats, including AVI, MKV, RMVB, FLV and MP4, it will also be able to support videos that are in 1080p resolution and have HDMI out for 1080p vi
