Sigo Announce More S40 1080P HD PMP Details

Announced back in October, the Sigo S40 is sounding nicer than we first thought. New info reveals it's powered by the Telechips TCC8901 chip it's got a list of compatible video formats and resolution as long as your arm including, the now pretty much standard 1080P Full HD and everything else imaginable. TV-Out is through 1.3 HDMI at 340MHz bandwith / 10.2GBps and it also incorporates the latest USB-OTG 2.0 connectivity. Sigo Hop Aboard The Good Ship 1080p With S40 And S50

In line with pretty much everyone, Sigo have got themselves some of the 1080p action with the S40 and S50 PMPs. Both players will support 1080p video playback and 1080p HDMI output, the difference between the two being the S40 has a 4.3 inch display and the S50 has a 5 inch. They support H.264, VC-1, MPEG2-TS, MPEG4, XviD/DivX, Real 8\9\10, as well as MKV, TS, MPG, AVI, VOB, RMVB and FLV. No price of dates have yet been given.
