Monster’s Gratitude, Blessed By Earth, Wind, And Fire.

July 11, 2011 by Alex in Audio, Earphones IEM with No Comments.

We love whenever one of our blogs involve names and words that enable us to spew out a confusing yet cool sounding (to us) title. Take for example this particular post. To break down what the title means: headphone/earphone company, Monster have come out with a new pair of IEMs called Gratitude. Not only will these in-ears be extensively plugged (pun intended - plug in the sense that they're be promoted galore like Monster's other products), they've also apparently been blessed by the band Earth, Wind, and Fire. How do you bless a pair of earphones? That don't matter. There's no specs or pricing out yet, but there is word that these "true-to-the-music" (Monster's words, not ours) will be released come September. via inearmatters

Another B2 Review – The Brainwavz B2 Vs Monster Turbine Pro Gold

A big thanks to Kyle over at headfonics.com again for doing a lengthy comparison review between our Brainwavz B2's and the Monster Turbine Pro Gold, dubbed 'Venus vs Mars'. Aptly named as the B2's use delicate and detailed dual balanced armature drivers whilst the Turbine Pro Golds use a more bass orientated dynamic driver. "the B2 and Turbines are total opposites of each other, each doing their own things with different strengths. While the B2 is easily the better technical performer, there is something about the Turbines’ bass that makes for a much more enjoyable listen." Kyle has also included a review of different music genres to make it easier for us to understand what the two pairs of earphones sound like for different styles of music that range from heavy dub and bass Elect

Monster Cable Celebrity Endorsement From The Grave

October 22, 2009 by Tom in Accessories with No Comments.

Following the Dr. Dre and Lady Gaga editions, the latest celebrity incarnation of Monster Beats comes from dead jazz legend Miles Davis. In the $400 box you get a set of the Davis-decorated in-ear headphones, a copy of Kind of Blue, a DVD and a 24-page booklet. Like most Monster Cable products they're sure to sound great but the shiny and sleek look will certainly be factored into the cost. [Via MonsterCable] Discuss on the forum.
