Teclast are bucking the touchscreen trend and opting for good ol' fashioned buttons for their forthcoming PMP.
This hands-off approach could be for the best as the 5-inch low temperature poly-silicon screen supports 720p HD decoding, as well as H.264 MKV, RM/RMVB and AVI video support (with more details yet to be announced).
The UI can be seen below.

Well, due to some shady marketing about Rockchips last chipset release (RK2712), i will be taking this bit of news with a pinch of salt. Today Teclast announced plans for their new MP4 (looking sheepishly like a digital photo frame) player, the M66. Within the M66 breaths the new RK2806 chip, capable of support 720p resolution of RMVB, FLV and avi. To top it off it will be using the Wolfson WM8988 DAC (i think the same one that the new Meizu M8 uses), i assume the wolfson chip is to compete with the Cirrus Logic DAC that is used in conjunction with the CC1600 media chip.
Well its good to see Rockchip finally coming out with a media chip capable of very high resolution playback, i am mostly happy as players that use the Rockchip solution tend to have better UI and more variety, unl
