TMSON M6 Another 768p Player

December 2, 2010 by HS in PMP, TMSON with 1 Comment.

TMSON are releasing a 768p player, the M6, which by it's HD capability quote indicates it's using the Sochip SC8600 chip, or some renamed variant of, such as the Boxchip F16. The 5-inch player comes with both a touch screen and buttons to operate navigation, making it a touch+button player which are becoming more popular (as well they should) in recent times. The 5-inch screen sports a resolution of 800x480, and the 768p capability indicates it can playback videos of up to 1366x768 resolution, which gives it the slight edge over the prototypical 720p player. The M6 will support the standard array of video file formats including MKV, AVI, RMVB, MPG, MP4, VOB etc., has MicroSD card expansion and, generally, is a solid if underwhelming player. via imp3

Newman MOMO X5 Video Review AKA The Best Meizu M6 Clone

February 26, 2008 by Raz in Newsmy, PMP, Video Review with No Comments.

Heres the first of a few Newman player reviews, the first is the Momo X5 AKA Best Meizu M6 Clone, its a pretty decent player, has all the standard capabilities of a RK2706 player, so its very similar to the RAmos RM970, the tactile strip could be better, but i think the fault lies in the firnware, so hopefully firmware updates will improve this Product Page Discuss at our forums
