IQQ Goes ‘NOVO’ With Their 5-Inch Android + WiFi Tabs – The M1 And M3

July 12, 2011 by Alex in Android Tablet, MP4, PMP, Tablet with No Comments.

China's IQQ brand are introducing their own small-sized smartPMP/Android tablet, which one could see as following in the right footsteps of Ainol and their NOVO line. These two tabs are the M1 and the M3, both of which share very similar specs. Their differences aren't very clear at the moment other than the M1 being reported to be released first, and the M3 to still have further development - so there could still be some added features to come. Click after the break for more info on the two. Specification wise, both the M1 and the M3 are powered by a Jz4760B processor, runs Android 2.2 (FroYo) OS, has WiFi connectivity and has a 5-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a resolution of 800 x 480. The tablets themselves share a similar design to the NOVO tabs, and I'm sure an

TSMON The Latest With A 4.3-Inch Addition: M1

September 22, 2010 by HS in PMP with No Comments.

The TSMON M1 is the latest 4.3-inch trooper to join the bursting army of similarly sized players that sit on the market today. However, it is likely that TSMON is a regional brand in China only selling to a select regional market which would make more sense, as it is hardly likely that all big-name and small-name brands share a national market. Pondering aside, the M1 is a 4.3-inch 768p capable player, slightly undershooting the current standard, but not to be discounted. Using the Sochip SC8600, or its twin brother the Boxchip F16, the video is capable of playing videos up to 1366x768 resolution. It also supports the vast array of file formats you would expect it to, examples being MKV, AVI, WMV, MPG, MP4, RMVB, VOB, DAT, FLV etc... It's got TV-out, comes in 4GB flavour and comes with a

Brainwavz M1 & M2 Reviewed At VR-Zone

September 7, 2010 by HS in Brainwavz, Earphones IEM with No Comments.

VR-Zone have reviewed the Brainwavz M1 and M2 IEMs and have published a glowing account all around. "Both the M1 and the M2 are a steal at its selling price. I would strongly recommend these two brothers to anyone out there who wants to take a peek into the world of IEMs. These two will definitely open your eyes and within minutes of auditioning either pair, you'll throw away those stock earphones that comes with your players." "If you are really fussy and particular with comfort, you won't go wrong with either the M1 or the M2." Read the full review here. Brainwavz M1 User Review

June 7, 2010 by HS in Brainwavz, Earphones IEM with No Comments.

Forum member ClieOS has posted a quick review of the Brainwavz M1. It is stressful to have a successful sibling when everyone is expecting you to live up to the family name. I guess nothing can be more true to Brainwavz M2 littler brother, the M1 in this case. Coming from the same blood line, M1 is supposed to be a step down version of M2 while still maintaining the same high price / performance standard established by M2. Well that is going to be a tough job since M2 is certainly one of the best valued IEM in the sub $100 category. Now if you have read my previous M2 review, you would have known M2 as the international version of Visang R03. M1 is however a little different. There isn’t any corresponding Visang IEM to M1 as it is specifically tuned by MP4Nation to be a uniq

Review: Brainwavz M1

This review was original posted on Head-fi and written by Head-Fi member ljokerl Intro Anyone who has been following Head-Fi’s portable forum for the past few months has probably stumbled on and been confused by the ViSang R03/Mp4nation Brainwavz M2 debacle. Let me try to clear things up. First, ViSang released the R03, which I thought were a great value for money and an excellent all-around set. Mp4nation then re-branded the R03 as the Brainwavz M2, changing the straight plug to an angled one and revising the included accessory bundle in the process. Then ViSang released the R02, which is specced very similarly to the R03/M2 and sounds very close to them but looks like the old Cyclone PR1 Pro/VSonic R02ProII. Did that help? I didn’t think so. But in case you’d m

Inbrics M1 Sexy Slim Android Slide Phone

January 11, 2010 by Tom in Android, Phone with No Comments.

More from CES and this time it’s a nice benchmark in Android phones. The ½ inch thick Inbricks M1 phone amazingly hoouses a full QWERTY keyboard that’s actually really functional. It also sports a great 2.7 inch WVGA AMOLED display, a front-facing VGA camera, 16GB storage (built in and expandable via microSD) and currently runs Android 1.5 (which should be bumped up to 2.0 when it’s out in March. It runs on an 800MHz Samsung processor which doesn’t work magic in the Samsung Moment but has been stroked the right way by Inbrics as powers to silky smooth UI and 720p video playback a breeze. via engadget
