This new player from KSD, one of 2 announced this week, is the K310, another 4.3-inch offering and it joins the masses of 4.3-inch players already on the market. This player, though, doesn't seem to be living up to standard expectations as it only offers 768p video playback capability, indicating it is using the Boxchip F16 AKA Sochip SC8600 chip. Not quite up to par with the 1080p expectation. All in all, you can get better performing products in the same price bracket.

This new player from KSD, the V9T, sports a widget system like the Window G89 which will allow you to customize up to 3 desktops to your liking. One of the cool things is the ability to decide what buttons you want on the desktop and where they go, but largely a widget system on a PMP can be redundant and superfluous because of the nature of a PMP - you spend more time watching a video on it than playing with the widgets. At any rate, it's a cool feature for this little 4.3-inch player. No word yet on what powers it.

It seems that with each passing week model after model from brand after brand is announced, pressed-out and photographed. This evening it is the KSD V9P - part of the KSD V-Series of HD players. The KSD V9P player is a 5-inch player with a screen resolution of 800x472 capable of up to 1280p video playback (1920x1280) - the hallmark of Sochip SC9800 chip characterised by the ability to play 1280p videos. The video file format support, therefore, is expected to be strong including MKV, AVI, MP4, WMV, MPG, VOB, FLV etc. The standard array of audio file formats and image/TXT file formats are present, along with a battery of 1500mAh that supposedly allows for up to 15 hours of video playback... but not at 1280p, I'll tell you. All in all this is another player that uses the Sochip SC9800 -
Carrying on their metallic theme KSD have announced their G9 - a 4.8 inch player that's slimmer than their G6 and has 720p support.
Almost every audio and video format is supported, including RMVB, RM, AVI, FLV, and APE / FLAC lossless audio formats and it has 10M bit stream HD video playback.
Audio is powered by PlayFX and has a variety of EQ modes.
It also includes SD card expansion, FM radio, e-book reader and photo browsing.
As yet there's no word on capacity or price.

Cased in a die-cast steel shell, it's the KSD G6 PMP.
Manufactured using a zinc alloy die casting process produced by Seiko, the solid G6 promises to withstand drops, compression, scratches and fading.
This comes at a cost with the unit being slightly heavier on the pocket than comparable machines but it could offer better protection to the 4 inch 480x272, 16.7million color TFT screen.
The G6 supports RM, RMVB, AVI, WMV, 3GP, DAT, VOB, ASF, FLV and most audio formats as well as APE/FLAC Lossless music format. It has built in PlayFX support as well as TF card expansion slot, FM radio, e-book support and photo browsing.
