The Pucinni tablet is HTC's latest upcoming tablet that sports a 10-inch display and runs Android Honeycomb. It has been in the works for some time now with rumours and spec updates that we've blogged before, but we finally get to see a first for the tablet - a couple of images of the actual tablet with its stylus by its side and placed in a flip-case, as well as the back of the tablet. Find out more about it after the break.
The images come from the guys at GBR, and shows not only that the tablet exists, but what it will look like come its release. Puccini's specs aren't as captured however, and is still unconfirmed to be powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 dual-core processor, run Android 3.x Honeycomb OS with HTC's Sense software on top (bringing custom widgets, contact manage
It looks like Taiwan's HTC is not a skeptic when it comes to the 'trend' that is the tablet. Instead of seeing them as a trend, HTC believes that the tablet is the way of the future and have even started thinking of coming out with even more tablets than the HTC Flyer they already have, which hasn't even hit the international market yet! HTC Europe's head, Florian Seiche had this to say on the matter: (after the break)
"I really believe that the tablet market is really going to to be a big market in the future and this is just the start... In five years' time, schools will have tablets probably instead of physical notebooks. I think that's going to be such a massive wave of additional penetration in society... I think we can't even guess the potential."
The HTC Flyer has yet to rec

Just days after we see the Thunderbolt hit 1.8GHz and pull off some ridiculous Quadrant runs, it's now been scaled to 2000 MHz, an overclocking feat as impressive as it is worrying considering the already-bad battery life on the HTC handset. Rodriguez, the man behind the overclocking, has said that the phone is still quite stable at 1.99GHz - very impressive, though use of the word "quite" doesn't bode well for those looking to get 24/7 2GHz overclocks.

We've blogged about the HTC Pyramid's specs leak - now we've got an image leak that shows that the smartphone will stay true to its design. The HTC Pyramid is an Android (Gingerbread) smartphone powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and has a 4.3-inch HD LCD screen with a resolution of 960 x 540.
A recent kernel developed for the HTC Thunderbolt, "unboLTEd 0.2" has allowed for incredible speeds to be reached on the HTC Thunderbolt handset. What speeds? Specifically, 1.8GHz (originally its Qualcomm Snapdragon processor is clocked at 1GHz), which has resulted in a whopping score of 2772 in Quadrant benchmarking, completely destroying the competition. Though not officially released, the unboLTEd kernel has been shared by developer Derek Rodriguez here and there, resulting in this score by someone who managed to get their hands on it. A huge overclock, a huge score, some doubt as to its authenticity, and a phone with incredible potential. Why haven't we seen this before on other Snapdragon-powered handsets? Some images of the Quadrant scores and overclock after the break.

A comparison table that compares 13 of the best tablets on offer right now is putting them all into rank in an attempt to see which tablet comes out on top. The comparison table comes courtesy of tabletcommunity.de, and awards points (up to five) for several aspects such as form factor, display, CPU, storage, camera, connectivity and battery. These points are then totaled and coupled with the price of the tablet. These two factors depict where a tablet stands in the ranking. Check the tablet out after the break to see which tablet came out as No. #1. Although I'm pretty sure we've made that pretty obvious...
The Motorola Xoom is the tablet to rank as No. #1. However, the table shows that it achieved the same amount of points as the Galaxy Tab 10.1 at 29 points, but came out on top
HTC's Android phone - the Pyramid - has had its specs leaked which will set any rumours about the company coming out with a dual-core powered phone straight. The Pyramid is a phone that's powered by a dual-core processor - a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon to be precise. The phone will also run Android Gingerbread (2.3) when it's released, and has a 4.3-inch superLCD screen with a resolution of 960 x 540. Other specs include an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front camera and 768MB of RAM. Its expected announcement should be during the upcoming CTIA event and there are rumours that the Android handset is to land with T-Mobile. Going by the leaked image, the Pyramid looks pretty suave albeit a little common. What do you think?
