iRiver are back at their Japanese Hello Kitty DAPs, this time in black and encrusted with Swarovski crystals (the standard sprinkle-on for any MP3 player or accessory).
This limited edition model comes with 4GB of memory, MP3 and WMA compatibility, drag and drop transfer and 5, new to the Hello Kitty line, EQ presets.
It's also Windows 7 compatible, has an S/N ratio of 90db, 13mW x 2ch output and a bandwith reproduction of 40Hz - 20,000Hz.
All this for a huge 9980 Yen / $111.

However you see Hello Kitty, be it kitsch, cool or crap, you can’t say they’re not working for their money.
Here’s the latest of their endless products, a pair of official Hello Kitty headphones with glittering pink and white crystals. At $83 there’s a chance (or a hope) that they could sound pretty good too.

IRiver have upped the ante on their 2GB Hello Kitty DAP by covering it in Swarovski Crystal and making it limited edition.
The crystals had better be stuck on tight of there'll be lots of handbags full of stray stones and some patchy looking players.
Close-up after the jump.

Freshly introduced to the Asian market is yet another novelty digital audio player.
This time it's iRiver who have set their sights on the dollars of lovers of all things cutesy.
The player has a respectable 2GB of internal memory, is pretty small and light (45.2 x 17 x 35.5mm & 16g) and comes with the choice of two skins, a 'Pink Teddy Bear' one and for off days, the 'Black Devil' silicon cover.
It has 10 hours of battery life, a 40Hz - 20kHz bandwith and a 13mWx2Ch at 16? output.
There are 5 EQ modes and it's available in Japan on Friday.
