HD A805 Get’s A Blue Eye’d Babe-Out

November 24, 2010 by Alex in Player Babed Out with No Comments.

This little MP4 PMP with it's 4.3-inch screen is packed with brightly lit colours due to it being in HD. This is perhaps why it's coupled with the babe with equally brightly coloured eyes. The A805 supports MKV, AVI, RM, RMVB, MP4, MOV, VOB, DAT, FLV, 3G, as well as H.264 decoding. Perhaps not as bright as 1080p, it's still supports 720p HD video output with TV-out. As for it's audio, it supports APE, FLAC, MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC, OGG and is equipped with Microsoft PlayFX, with 3D surround sound and bass effects. With a fine matte aluminum alloy shell, this nice looking, bright eyed player will suite any bright eyed person. If you've got dark eyes, go out and get some coloured contacts. Don't worry, you'll look super cool. Especially if you hold the player ever so softly like 'she' does. M

The Sturdy M8TV

November 12, 2010 by Alex in Other, PMP with No Comments.

The sturdy, glossy looking device seems to divert away from the popular thin, sleek and less... bubbly player's that are out on the market today. The apparently lightweight larva blob is a 7-inch HD player that supports CMMB mobile TV which apparently allows up to 3 years of free television with the option of continuing after - of course. The player also has a Kay Rcker C series map that SiRF Atlas-IV GSP chip for easy navigation, as well as voice navigation. It unfortunately does not have a touchscreen but the screen it does have has a resolution of 800 x 480. It also has 128MB's of RAM and 4GB's of internal memory with a Micro SD card slot and a USB port. What runs this big boy is it's SiRF Atlas-IV dual core 500MHz, and uses Windows CE 6.0 as it's OS. What video formats can it suppo

Looks like iRivers latest player will be running on wince. It seems to have quite a nice screen and is capable of 720p video playback, not bad for a device running WinCE. Not sure if this model will make its way out of Korea, but i wouldn't mind getting my hands on one.

Eston 7 Inch Android MID N97 Clone With Added HD

November 3, 2009 by Tom in PMP with 1 Comment.

There are a lot of N97 clones around but this one that boasts full HD playback is more eyecatching than most. It runs Android and has a 7 inch screen, 4 hours of battery, WiFi, 3G, Flash player, web browser and an ebook reader. It runs all this off a Marvell PXA303 chip so maybe the full HD needs to be seen to be believed. [Via Engadget] Discuss on the MP4Nation forum.

Blue Morning Dawns 1080P BM-899 PMP

October 13, 2009 by Tom in PMP with No Comments.

Blue Morning are transfering to HD with their next player, 5 inch BM-899 with a litle help from Taiwanese pop star Will Pan. Pan's face is etched n the back of the player (after the jump for pic) to collect fans but aside from that the player has full 1080P playback, a 5 inch 16 million colour LTPS hi-res, low temperature polysilicon display and a very silver fusilage that gets me thinking about that stainless steel beast, the DeLorean. Despite info being thin on the ground, we know the SA075 has an 800 x 480 touchscreen and has HDMI output. Even the HD capabilities are vague but considering 1080p has fast become the norm over the last few weeks, it's probable Philips will be following suit. [Via Slipperybrick] Discuss on the forum.
