Eye controlled MP3 players via earphones

This gives a entire new meaning to blind navigation. Japans DoCoMo has a new method for how you can control your MP3 player with just your eyes with the use of a pair of earphones. The entire basis for these earphones are their ability to detect ectrooculograms that your brain sends out in response to your eye movement. So moving your eyes left can mean jump to the next song, move them up and the volume can go up. This is a great idea, control your media player with your eyes, but i wonder how the earphones will distinguish between your eyes just moving in response to seeing something and eye movement in order to change a song.
