Keeping up with the Joneses, Onda have upgraded their VX575 to full HD, offering 1080P HD output via HDMI.
As well as the above, the 5 inch player also offers OTG functionality and if the promotional image shown (after the jump) is anything to go by,they're machoing up in the war against DVD.

Itoos are next on the full HD wagon with the announcement of their M Series players.
The M Series will output 16 million colour 1920 x 1080 resolution video, support OTG, have a TTS voice reading function, play the usual music files, FM radio, recording and an e-book reader.
The actual specifics of each function are as yet sketchy but expect the M Series to be up among this next generation of 1080P machines.

The latest 1080P PMP to hit the China market is the Gemei HD8800.
Information is surprisingly sparse but it does support RMVB / AVI / FLV, H.264 encoded MKV and other HD video formats, has HDMI output and boasts a 50MB data stream.

News is just out on the Teclast T56, their first player to offer 1080P Full HD output via HDMI.
It supports all formats and can play back at 2.0736 million pixels (just over twice as much as standard 720P).
The player itself has a 5 inch, 16 million colour 800 x 480 LED display and comes equipt with a second generation USB-OTG 2.0 memory expansion port, a camera, GPS and a whole host more.
Capacity and price are TBA but if it delivers, the T56 could be a gem.
