With metal, rubber, copper, glass, plastic, and whatever else used in creating the ever increasing mass of tech devices out there - we seem to of forgotten about good ol' nature. Why chop a tree down to fuel a machine that makes things out of metal when you can chop a tree down and use it directly instead (just joking - do NOT chop down any trees!). These Woody Ears concept earphones have taken the eco-friendly attitude by designing earbuds with wooden covers - something different even amongst the crazy options already out there - so you're certainly not going to get barked at by eco-activists. Oh wait, you might - who knows how many trees it takes to make one set of these. Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 33, but at least it is a renewable source. Another interesting aspect t
Forum member and avid earphone fan Cartelps11 has done the "Basshead Showdown", a review of the Brainwavz M2 vs Brainwavz ProAlpha vs Beats by Dre Tour IEMs in what can only be described as an epic review - it may not be readily apparent now, but you'll see why when you read the full review. Sakar, an electronics manufacturer have developed an array of Gummy Bear shaped products, including these Gummy Bear earphones. It's obvious that we'd all want to put them in our mouths and eat them, but I'd recommend not to. Instead, put them in your ears and put your other non-delicious looking earphones in your mouth. There we go. It's not unheard of that earphones come in such unusual designs - we've got sausage dogs, mushrooms, sushi and most anything that resembles something that shouldn't be sticking out of your ears. If you happen to be living in a world where that's acceptable, then why not add the Gummy Bear earphones to your collection. However, if you're not into music but still want to look the part, you can always stick regular Gummy Bears in your ears.

TPU, consummate professionals and experts in all things technological, have reviewed our Brainwavz M2 units in what is a well-rounded and informative piece. Their concluding remarks include: "The MP4Nation Brainwavz M2 turned out to be a bass lovers delight. Once you get over the immediate fascination of the low end you will come to learn that the warm and forward midrange is quite fabulous as well considering that these in-ears sell for just under $60." In case you had any doubts left and were after a set of bassy IEMs, this review should help clear that up.

The RAmos RX100 earphones hit my desk looking like a USD$5 pair of earphones you'd pick up on the go, after you've busted up your proper ones (Brainwavz's of course) and need a pair to listen to until you buy your next proper pair of Brainwavz's (of course!). After trying them however, I was slightly surprised. Here's why.
First of all, the packaging the RX100's came in wasn't the nicest, sleekest, or fanciest of packaging. It would be unfair to say that all packaging needs to be in matte black and look like it came from northern Europe, however, packaging that looks rather cheap will indeed give off that impression. The image behind the thick plastic was somewhat of a replica of Apple's coloured silhouette iPod ad, and the plastic casing itself was made out of one of th

I was fortunate enough to test two great quality earphones off one another in a bid to see which one was the better, all-rounded pair. For someone who was blissfully oblivious to the beauty of true sound quality, it came as a welcome surprise when both the Brainwavz M2's and Nakamichi Elite earphones blew my $30 pioneers out of the water and rendered them something of the past, never to see the darkness of my ears again. I have now seen the light, or heard the sound, or some other BS saying of the like.

Resident forum wiseman TheWarriorPoet has put together a quick review based on his experiences with a review unit of the Brainwavz M3 IEM. Among other quotable lines to "tight bass, good detail, balance" were "[the] M3's carry a wide soundstage, and have a good presentation" and "bass I would describe as more punchy than boomy." Like with the M1s and M2s, TheWarriorPoet did encounter microphonics, but this can be remedied by slinging the cables around your ear. If you like your music loud, it also shouldn't impose. Overall, I've done all too much paraphrasing and am ruining the well-thought and well-written review by TWP which you should read here, which is also the thread that all other user reviews will go in, so a wealth of information abound.
