Nokia's E7 - a capacitive smartphone with slide-out keyboard - has yet to be released, but that hasn't stopped a clone popping up. The display size is 3.5 - smaller than the E7's 4-inches, and would most probably be resistive. It runs on an MTK processing chip, and has WiFi connectivity - but no Android OS - this is no smartphone. Throw in an FM radio function and an affordable price (USD$100) and you've got yourself a simple yet good looking clone. The slide-out keyboard looks alright, and we wonder how well it works.

Charbax is at it again with this video of China based Zaidtek's E7 and H7 Android tablets caught at CES 2011. The video first shows the E7 being an Android 2.1 tablet (and quite possibly 2.2 in the future) that's powered by an ARM11 Qualcomm MSM7227 with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen. It is not dissimilar to the Aigo N700 tablet that was previously blogged, also from a Charbax video review. The E7 has a phone function that supports 3G and has a SIM card slot as well as a MicroSD slot. Video shows the touchscreen to be rather quite responsive, and the device is sold at a not that affordable wholesale price of USD$350. We next get shown the H7 - another 7-inch capacitive tablet with Android 2.1 OS, but runs off a Rockchip ARM9 RK2818. Despite the hilarious touchscreen battle between
Well, the man with contacts in high places has once again got first play with another excellent device from masters of affordable audio equipment, FiiO.
The E7 USB DAC headphone AMP is nearing production (waiting for parts) but samples have been sent out and ClieOS from www.inearmatters.net (and our own forums) has received his sample, with customized printing to boot - lucky devil.
The whole device looks typically well made, sleek, well packaged and rugged. Not sure on the final pricing yet but knowing FiiO it will be a good price and high quality.
Accessories wise, you have the soft pouch for storage, a silicone band in case you want to warp it with a DAP, a heavy duty USB cable, for a size comparison, ClieOS has taken some shots next to some more popular players.

The Fiio E7 has made its first video debut, it looks like one of the guys at Fiio have made a short video showing how the prototype looks and the different options available on the device.
We heard from Fiio last week that the E7 was delayed due to certain components being out of stock from their supplier. Lets hope its out soon :)

Thanks LeoNikolas
Fiio looks to make some 'slight' changes to their upcoming amps, frankly the new renderings show a far more slick design than what was previously released. Hopefully the real product will look as delicious (and sound as delicious) as they look in their renderings
