Here’s a new mini mixing device that’s a turntable packed into a PMP. The design’s pretty enticing, hopefully the practical capabilities of it will be up to, erm, scratch. It plays back MP3s, allows for mixing on the fly, cues outputs, can connect with another Touchtable wirelessly (ok, that’s pretty cool) and it doubles as a MIDI controller when connected to a PC. Verging on the useless is this little mini mixer that allows crossfading between two players (illustrated here by the little known 'iPod'). Options do open out a little more when you consider using another source rather than two PMPs, meaning it'll work as a makeshift device allowing playback between a laptop and an MP3 player. It has audio output and a built in speaker. At just £20 though it'll no doubt just a be a nice novelty stocking filler. [Via Pocket-Lint] Discuss on the MP4Nation forum.
