3M Reveal 2.8 Inch Glasses-Free 3D Display

From the fellas that brought you Post-it Notes and Scotch Office Tape comes some pretty exciting 3D screen news, a glasses-free display panel. Relying on backlighting control and a textured adhesive film that directs screen elements to different eyes, creating 3D video. The 2.8 inch display which could spice up PMPs and cellphones has been developed alongside a larger 9 inch display that uses the same system. 3M claim mass production of both sizes has already begun.
