The Sturdy M8TV

November 12, 2010 by Alex in Other, PMP with No Comments.

The sturdy, glossy looking device seems to divert away from the popular thin, sleek and less... bubbly player's that are out on the market today. The apparently lightweight larva blob is a 7-inch HD player that supports CMMB mobile TV which apparently allows up to 3 years of free television with the option of continuing after - of course. The player also has a Kay Rcker C series map that SiRF Atlas-IV GSP chip for easy navigation, as well as voice navigation. It unfortunately does not have a touchscreen but the screen it does have has a resolution of 800 x 480. It also has 128MB's of RAM and 4GB's of internal memory with a Micro SD card slot and a USB port. What runs this big boy is it's SiRF Atlas-IV dual core 500MHz, and uses Windows CE 6.0 as it's OS. RAmos Q20 iLive Announced – Another CMMB Player

RAmos today announced another new additional to the Mumu product lineup, the Q20 iLive. The player, which isn’t touch screen (or at least the specifications make no reference to touch screen), is geared towards being a more compact CMMB (digital TV receiver) player. We don’t really need to speculate too much on what chipset this will be using, much like all other CMMB players, this will most likely be using the Rockchip RK2706 chipset, as well as a 3.5? QVGA screen. Apart from the CMMB feature, the player will be able to play various audio and video formats and will be capable of support hi resolution videos. RAmos T8 Spotted in the wild – first real images – Slick

August 8, 2008 by Raz in Ramos with 1 Comment.

The RAmos T8 has hit the streets of China, just prior to the start of the Olympics, most probably to take advantages of people wanting players with built in CMMB (The Chinese governments hi quality digital TV transmission service) to watch the Olympics. The retail price of the player in China for the 8GB is RMB$699 about USD$105, but expect this to be higher for the export version of the player (non CMMB version), expect that version to be about USD$115 - $130 for the 8GB.
