CEC’s M51 PMP – A David Amongst Myriad Goliaths

With the growing number of tablets comes the growing number of questions raised regarding the whereabouts of new portable media players (we've even been asked these questions). The absence of news on PMP's does not necessarily mean an absence of planning and developing. This is certainly the case for China based company CEC who has recently released their new PMP - the M51 - a small, non OS device that has come into the world full of powerful giants. This 4.3-inch player has a resolution of 480 x 272 and uses a built-SDM chip. It also has CMMB Television support, complete with an antenna - something you don't see now-a-days (perhaps the device's sling for taking down the Goliath tablets? I wouldn't bet on it). Its video file support includes RM / RMVB, AVI, FLV, MPG, VOB and more, its
