Teclast C350 New 3.0″ Touch Screen Player – Possible 720P Support!

December 15, 2009 by Raz in Teclast with No Comments.

Teclast announced a few days ago that they would be using the new Rockchip media processor, RK2728B with their new player. The C350 will be a 3.0" touch screen and have a slim profile. The real highlight of this player is the RK2728B chip, the new chip is quite like the RK2806 chip, capable of playing multiple video formats, including AVI, FLV, RMVB and MKV. I really haven't seen yet how this new chip can really perform, but if we are to believe the spec sheets that have been released for the RK2728B chip, then the player maybe able to support videos upto 1280x720 resolution. I really am not sure how this chipset is different from the RK2806 chip, which on paper, looks the same as the RK2728B chip. Well i look forward to getting my first RK2728B player and testing that baby out.

Tiny 3 Inch Teclast C350 Packs Big Rockchip HD

Teclast have gone small this time around with their 3 inch C350 which packs the Rockchip RK2728B HD decoder chip which allows playback of HD MKV 720P video and H.264 decoding. Not much other information's been released yet other than it supports MKV, AVI, RM, RMVB, MP4, MOV, VOB, DAT, FLV and 3GP video and audio's been stepped up with different playback functions, Microsoft PlayFX and 8 EQ modes. The UI would be nice to see, along with the memory (we do know it's TF expandable though). It is as yet, early days. [Via IMP3]
