The Benss BX-57 F16 player pictured above is said to have PDF support (as an upgrade to the original Benss BX-57 player), which might be a first for Chinese portable media players and if not a first, then at least an extreme rarity. Wearing its controls on its sleeve (well, front) is the Chinese Benss BX-57 PMP. The 4.3 inch 480 x 272 dot matrix screened player has a metal casing that's 7.89mm thick. Video support comes in the form of AVI, ASF, WMV, RM, RMVB, FLV, MP4, MPG and RMVB up to a maximum of 1280 x 720 pixels, as well as 720p HD. Audio support includes APE, FLAC Lossless, MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV files and it carries the regular EQ settings and 3D sound options. On top of these there's the standard picture browser, e-book support and sound recorder. [Via Zol]
