As a departure from the super pricy, Audio-Technica have shown off two sets of noise-cancelling headphones at CES around the $100 mark. The ATH-ANC27 and ATH-ANC25 bins look pretty swish and use the QuietPoint active noise-cancellation system. This system uses inbuilt mics to detect environment noise and produce a negative audio pattern to cut out up to 80% of it. They come with a detachable chord, plane adaptor and a carry case, are available in a couple of months and cost $120 and $100 respectively. via pocket-lint
