Onkyo Windows 7 Tablet Snooping About

November 29, 2010 by HS in Tablet with No Comments.

For all you fans of the satirical and lazy little white dog, Onkyo has recently launched a Windows 7 tablet - the TW117A4 - with a limited edition Snoopy and Peanuts theme on it's UI. Not only can you dress like Charlie Brown for your next dress-up party, you will now also be able to make all your friends say "you've taken this too far" by whipping out your special snoopy tablet, and do your best to convince them to scroll through Snoopy strips on the snoopylicious device with you. This nutty Peanutty tablet is powered by an ATOM CPU N450 and has a 10.1-inch (WSVGA) touchscreen. I wonder if Snoop Doggy-Dogg will be sporting one of these bad-boyz anytime soonz? via akihabaranews

Atom Powered, W7 iPad Clone

There you have it, an iPad clone called 'ePad' that may only be barely more streamlined an experience than rollerskating on gravel. It features a 10.1 inch touch screen with a resolution of 1024x600, also supporting Wifi, 3G, GPS, the rotating G-sensor and GPS. All of this on an Atom N450 1.66g processor using an integrated GMA 3150. Hard drive sizes range from 160 to 320 GB, there can be 1G or 2G memory - not really the sort of specs to load Windows 7 onto but, alas, the developers of this product, the likes of which are by now fairly familiar, have decided to go full steam ahead with Windows 7, all of this for the price of $394 USD. But, the 7 inch a7330D and a7230XD and the 12.1 inch Sahara NetSlate a230T have all at least adopted the Atom CPU which means they should run a lot nicer than they look. See the link below for the specs. [Via Earthtimes] Discuss on our forum.
