Movie Studio Video Editor For Android 3.0 Honeycomb

With Android 3.0 Honeycomb being the first version of Android that is optimized for tablets, you can expect many great features and function to go with the OS as it hits the streets. The Good fellas over at TechCrunch managed to spend some time with Motorola's Xoom tablet - one of the first tablets to be running the latest OS. One such great honeycomb feature that was explored on the tablet was Movie Studio which is a video editor designed for tablets (and can be seen in action at around the half-way point in the video after the break). The app allows for video editing like you would do on professional video hardware which includes adding titles, transitions, digital effects and scrolling through the video time-line on a touch-circle much like you would on a physical dial. Still relatively in their infancy, the emerging third party applications and games for the OS-72HR are pushing on so here we'll take a look at what's on offer so far. Installation guide, pictorial app run down and all the links after the break. First things first – for installing you need get the player knowing what you're up to. For this you need these files unzipping and the 'platform' folder needs to be copied straight to the root directory. Easy.
