Onda VX757 Video Review (woohoo first in the world!!)

March 19, 2008 by FEG in Onda, Video Review with 4 Comments.

So here is our exclusive review of the unreleased Onda VX757, i would have done it sooner, if i had the time. First on the net, even before the Chinese sites, to have this video review, its pretty snazzy looking player, but definitely taking its looks from the RM970 and IPT. It does use the JZ4732 chipset and it has the same standard layout and capabilities as other JZ4732 players.

Guide to Updating Optimus Touch firmware

It does seem that there are still bugs in the player to fix, but it does seem to do a lot of under the hood work, making the player more stable and less likely to crashes. The PMC-M860 and PMC-M880: Two New widescreen MP4 players

February 14, 2008 by FEG in PMP with No Comments.

Chinese manufacturer Tsinghua Tongfang has come up with a nice looking new widescreen MP4 player, the PMC-M860, sporting a decent set of video and audio formats. Specs: --2.6 inch 4:3 widescreen player (400x240 resolution) Supports RMVB, RM, FLV, and AVI video formats; APE, FLAC Lossless Audio(and other?) audio formats Sleek metal paneling-- The original article also listed an M880 model. It's hard to tell from the poor translation what exactly it is, other than another widescreen RMVB player, but there was a pic: Original Zol article(translated)
