The test-run carts are used in Lotus supermarkets in Shanghai, and not only will it make for shopping for groceries much more fun, the tablets also provide information on what you’re buying, and can sync you shopping list data from your smartphone onto the tablet. If Shanghai shoppers enjoy these smart carts enough, we may be bumping cart heads from distraction at our very own supermarkets!
