Video: The Sony S1 And S2 Shows Up In Italy – Hands On Vid Of The S1

Whilst waiting for the next Sony S1 and S2 mystical teaser trailer to come, we’ve got here the actual Sony tablets held with actual hands, Italian hands for that matter! The two tablets – both sporting NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 dual-core processors and Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS have reached the office of Notebook Italia, who has also managed to take a quick hands-on video of the S1. Read more and check out the video after the break.

The S1 with its Android Honeycomb OS and Swift web browser sports a custom UI, whereas the S2, also with the same OS, comes with an e-Book-like custom UI that works with its dual 5.5-inch screen. Both tablets are Playstation certified (we would assume so) and also comes with DNLA support – gaming is certainly going to be a much used feature with these tabs. Current speculations state that the S1 is priced at 599 Euros, and the S2 at 649 Euros. Check out the hands-on video of the S1 below, although it’s all in Italian, and it’s mostly speaking… but at least we get to see the folded-magazine design in real-time!
