Portable media players are all fine and dandy, but the annoying thing about them is that you have to use your hands to hold the darn things up most of the time. What a total drag. Well drag no longer, for this edition of SODDIT introduces you to a piece of ingenuousness that lets you do all your veiwing totally hands free – It’s the TVHat, and yes, it is just that – a TV… and a hat. find out more about TVHat after the break.
The TVHat is essentially a baseball cap with an elongated brim. The end of the brim is where your iPod, iPhone or small PMP is placed. The cap also has flaps that fall down on either side so that you don’t get distracted from pestering cars whilst crossing the road, or from annoying walls that somehow always get in your way. The TVHat also has a 2.5x magnification screen to help you watch your stories without strain. Plug in your set of earphones and there you go – cinema on-the-go. Not only will you be able to enjoy watching whatever it is you like watching whilst walking around, you’ll also look like the coolest cat on the boulevard. If only the thing had a cup holder…
