“Unique Design” Sony Tabs Hit Europe This September – The S1 And S2?
According to a leaked internal note from Sony, we could be expecting the Sony S1 and S2 to hit European shelves come September. Although the S1 and S2 are not confirmed to be the tablets referred to in the note, it did highlight the timeline for unnamed tablets that have ‘unique design features’, and will stack up well against the iPad – the S1 being the tablet that most resembles the shape of an iPad. The leaked note that was shown to the people of Engadget speak of pre-orders for the tablets to start in August and will ship by the end of September, reaching the UK first. We’ve blogged about the S1 and S2 before, and can fully agree that they have ‘unique design features’ – the S1 looking like a folded back magazine and the S2 looking like a clamtab that could feautre in the next Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’.
