Onda VX580A Sports 2.2 + WiFi – Definitely RK2818 Too
Onda has pulled, stretched, augmented, upgraded and blessed the VX580 PMP with all sorts of added features and upgreaded specs and names. They’ve done it again, this time adding an ‘A’ to its name and WiFi to its game. The Onda VX580A is a smart PMP and the successor to the VX580W, or is it the VX580+… err. Let’s start that again. The VX580A is a successor to its predecessors of the same model. It sports Android 2.2 (FroYo), has WIFi connectivity and is powered by a RockChip RK2818 processor. It has the same sized screen as the other VX580s – 5-inches – but what’s completely new about the VX580A other than added WiFi connectivity is its shell. In stead of the standard bold matte plastic, the VX580A has a brushed aluminum look – a more sophisticated look suited for an Android player, with WiFi of course (*Ahem VX610+). Onda are also planning on doing the same WiFi upgrade for two other Onda players – the VX570A and VX610A. Check out more images of the VX580A after the break.
