NOVO 8 Black Edition!
As I’m sure you are all now aware of, Ainol have been coming out with with smart PMPs – Android bound players wielding the power of WiFi. They call them the NOVOs – each with their own unique special power screen size shown by the number in their name. This blog is about the NOVO8 – the 8-inch player powered by a Cortex-A9 processor and a Mali-400 3D graphics processor with 512MB of RAM, and sports an Android 2.2 FroYo OS. The NOVO8 also does 1080p video playback, has a resolution of 1280 x 768, has HDMI out and use to only come in white. It now also comes in black. Everything else on the black version is the same as the original white NOVO8. We have the black NOVO5 at our store, and even though white can look great (and in some cases horribly not great), its black shell looks as good as it is a safe colour to go by. i thought ainol novo8′s are supposed to be cortex a9?
You’re absolutely correct – it is Cortex-A9! Must of had a brain fart then! I’ve made the amendment – thanks!
