iRiver, Where Have You Been? And Is That An Android Tab?
Why yes, yes it is. It appears that iRiver – a company we’ve blogged many times over about their MP3 and MP4 players – have stepped out of the darkness they seemed to of been hiding in, holding on to an Android tablet of their own. They haven’t necessarily gone all out with their introduction into the tablet market – the iRiver tablet uses a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, has WiFi and Bluetooth (2.1) connectivity and runs Android 2.2 as its OS. And I’m sure its other specs are similar to other tablets of the same ilk. The tablet was actually spotted on a Korean blog (even though the above image was taken in China), however there’s no word on pricing or availability, but we can assume it will be fairly priced.
