Gemei Promotes Another Classic Device To PRO Status – The HD8800 PRO
We’ve very recently blogged about Gemei’s HD8900 PRO player – the Android + WiFi successor to the HD8900. Gemei has now done the same to their old HD8800 player. Like the HD8900 PRO, the HD8800 PRO is also an updated version of its predecessor which adds Android OS and WiFi connectivity. Also like its PRO brethren, the Android version on the HD8800 PRO is unknown, although if Gemei is keeping with the times by adding Android and WiFi to their PMPs, we can only hope it’s at least Android 2.3 Gingerbread (although 2.2 FroYo is probably the more realistic version).
