Ekoore’s Perl, Python And Pascal – Windows, Linux And Android

Ekoore – an Italian company – have introduced three new tablets, all beginning with the letter P. The Pizza, Pasta and Pesto loving company already have an Ubuntu Linux based tablet that they released last year, but have decided to branch out on OS’ with their new three. They are titled Perl, Python and Pascel, and the first two run either Windows 7 or Linux, whilst the Pascal runs Android. Find out more on each of the tabs after the break.

Perl

The Ekoore Perl is a tablet with a funny name. It is also a whopping 11.1-inches in screen size and comes with a resolution of 1366 x 768. Unfortunately there is no word yet on its processor, but we do know that it does HDMI out, has multitouch input and stereo audio. It also comes with a 0.55-inch thick case. As for OS, it will either come with Windows or Ubuntu Linux.

Python

The Python is practically a netbook minus the keyboard, plus a touchscreen. it is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N455 processor as well as a GMA 3150 graphics processor. Its other specs include an SSD, 3 USB ports, WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity and a mini HDMI out port (which is strange as its processor isn’t really designed for HD video). The Python is also either Windows 7 or Linux, and it has an alleged 4 hours of battery life. It is also slightly thicker than the Perl, measuring at 0.62-inches.

Pascal

The Pascal is the most familiar looking tablet. It sports a 7-inch multitouch screen, is powered by a 1.2GHz Telechips dual-core ARM Cortex-A8 processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread as its OS. It also has 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Sound familiar? The Pascal is the thinnest of the bunch, measuring at 0.48-inches thick.

There is no word yet on when these tablets will be available, and at what price. In all honesty, we’ve seen the Android tablet type many times over, so our interest lies with the Perl and Python. What about yours?
