Windows 7 Smartphone With Slide-out Keyboard – The Fujitsu LOOX F-07C

We haven’t seen that many Windows 7 operating systems on handheld devices before so we thought we’d show you this one – the Fujitsu LOOX F-07C. It is a 4-inch phone that’s powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z600 processor, runs Windows 7 premium as well as Symbian OS and has a resolution of 1024 x 600. The phone also has a slide-out keyboard, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of SSD, front and rear cameras and Bluetooth, WiFi  and 3G connectivity. Having Windows 7 OS around with you on such a portable device is pretty cool – especially with being able to hang up on incoming calls and blaming it on a Windows related crash – however the battery life doesn’t last long with it running – less than 2 hours apparently which is probably why the phone has Symbian OS as an alternative. Either way, it’s pretty cool and worth taking a loox at.
