Tegra 3 Powered Asus Tab This Year!?
It could be that H2 2011 could be when a NVIDIA Tegra 3 chipped Asus tablet hits the market. This is all speculation at the moment and is based loosely on combining two previous announcements: NVIDIA announcing Tegra 3 SoC – dubbed Kal-El – products to arrive by August 2011 and Asus claiming that they’ll be releasing a tablet around the same time. Asus is already using NVIDIA’s dual-core Tegra 2 processor in their Eee Pad Transformer tablet, and the rumours have even gone so far as to suggest that Asus are already putting the new Tegra 3 SoC to use. Check back on our Tegra 3 blog so see what the new chip is all about.
