Is It Worth Overclocking The Asus Eee Pad Transformer?
Well first of all lets see how the Asus Eee Pad Transformer was able to be overclocked from its original 1Ghz. Thanks to developer, netarchy at forum.xda-developers.com, a custom kernal was posted for download that allows you to overclock your Eee Pad Transformer to 1.4GHz (whith possible expansion in the future). Does it work well on 1.4GHz? Not really. The tablet was reported to be not very stable, however overclocking it to 1.2GHz seemed to of done the trick – it may be modest but it still ran 20% faster than normal. If you want your Asus Eee Pad Transformer to run 20% faster too then grab the download here, although keep in mind that you’ll need to root your tablet first, and by doing so you void the warranty and risk losing data so make sure you create backups.
