Video: The Maestro C Tablet Transforms Into A Makeshift Laptop
The Maestro C Tablet by Evolve III is a tablet that can transform into a sort of laptop. The concept of a tablet cum laptop is nothing new, but what’s unique about the Maestro C tablet is that it has a separate wireless keyboard that doubles up as a cover/screen protector, and it also has a swivel kickstand to help prop the screen up – ultimately turning it into somewhat of a makeshift laptop. The Kickstand in use reveals the tablet’s USB ports, headphone jack, etc. and the removable keyboard locks on to the tablet via magnets, which is pretty cool and makes for removing and putting them together easy. The tablet is powered by an Intel Atom Z670 Oak Trail processor, has a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen and runs Windows 7 Home Premium as its OS. The tablet also comes with 2GB of RAM, a large 64GB of internal memory, WiFi connectivity (with optional Bluetooth and 3G), HDMI out and a 1.3-megapixel front camera. You can check out the hands on video that shows how the tablet transforms as well as its user interface after the break.
