HTC’s Flyer Tab Gets Honeycomb Update ‘Shortly After’ Launch
The HTC Flyer - a 7-inch tablet that’s powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread – has recently been announced by the company via twitter that the slate will be receiving an Android 3.0 Honeycomb update shortly after its launch. HTC have stated before that the slate would be receiving a Honeycomb update but now we have a better idea as to when. To fill your meory a bit more on the Flyer: it has 1GB of RAM, comes with a stylus, has a 5-megapixel front camera, does 720p video capture and runs Sense 3.0 interface, which could be kept or replaced with the OS update.
