Asus Eee Pad Transformer Now Out! Asus Eee Pad Transformer Now Sold Out!

It looks like the Asus Eee Pad Transformer – a tablet that was already in short supply overseas since its launch in Taiwan and the UK, has been dwindling in stock number in the US to the point of it being sold out in most US retailers. What’s even more surprising is that the tablet was just recently released out on the US market! However, not all of the retailers on Asus’ website list has even mentioned stock of the tablet, but for ones that have and have put up a ‘sold out’ sign, we’ve got: Amazon, Buy.com, B&H, TigerDirect, DataVision, Newegg and Best Buy. For those of you who may not know what the Asus Eee Pad Transformer is – in brief: it’s a 10-inch tablet that’s powered by a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and will run Android 3.0 Honeycomb. It also has 1GB of RAM, 16GB to 32Gb of internal memory and has an optional detachable keyboard that transforms the slate into a laptop. Sounds cool right? Well it looks like you can’t have one… they’re all sold out. :(
