Another B2 Review – The Brainwavz B2 Vs Monster Turbine Pro Gold
A big thanks to Kyle over at headfonics.com again for doing a lengthy comparison review between our Brainwavz B2′s and the Monster Turbine Pro Gold, dubbed ‘Venus vs Mars’. Aptly named as the B2′s use delicate and detailed dual balanced armature drivers whilst the Turbine Pro Golds use a more bass orientated dynamic driver.
“the B2 and Turbines are total opposites of each other, each doing their own things with different strengths. While the B2 is easily the better technical performer, there is something about the Turbines’ bass that makes for a much more enjoyable listen.”
Kyle has also included a review of different music genres to make it easier for us to understand what the two pairs of earphones sound like for different styles of music that range from heavy dub and bass Electronica, ‘regular’ instrament Indie, accurate Jazz, rounded Pop and more. There’s even Female Vocals in which the B2s came out on top by giving a “smooth as silk” sound. Out of the two, the Monster Turbine Pro Gold won Kyles heart due to its great bass orientated quality as well as its ability to rock out and give a satisfactory “oomph” when listening to them.
