Video: Hands On With The HTC View – The Flyer Americana
The HTC View 4G is Sprints re-branded HTC Flyer that will be released in the United States of America. It’s basically the same tablet, but will a slightly different shell and name. We’ve seen what the Flyer can do from its introduction back in MWC 2011, but we decided to give you another hands-on video – this time with the HTC view 4G. The HTC view 4G comes powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory with expansion of up to 32GB (totaling 64GB) via MicroSD card, a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 x 600, Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with 3.0 Honeycomb to come and DNLA and WiMAX 4G support. We’ve seen the HTC Flyer’s neat Scribe function that allows you to easily draw, highlight and pretty much add anything by freehand onto the device, and we can see it again in the HTC View 4G’s hands on video, as well as the tablet’s HTC Sense 3.0 interface that includes an awesome carousel spin view – you can spin the desktop round with a flick of the finger – up to 8 customizable desktops in fact. The Hands on is actually quite a good one as it explains what the HTC View 4G is capable of in a very easy to understand and fun fashion, and shows off the tablet’s specs throughout. Check it out after the break.
