The Creative Ziio 7 Gets Upgrade To Android 2.2
The Creative Ziio 7 tablet that launched late last year originally came with Android 2.1 Eclair. According to Creative’s official Facebook page, an upgrade to Android 2.2 FroYo is to be made available in the next couple of weeks for certain countries. The Ziio 7 isn’t the only Creative tablet to be getting an Android 2.2 update package. The Ziio 10 – a 10-inch tablet that also originally came with Android 2.1 – gets its Android 2.2 upgrade sometime in April. With that said, Android 2.2 Ziio 7 tablets are already available to Asian and European customers, however there’s no word yet on when American customers will be getting their Android 2.2 upgrade. Just to spruce you up on what the Creative Ziio 7 packs – It’s powered by a 1GHz ZiiLABS ZMS-08 processor, sports a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480, supports HD video playback and has HDMI-out put.
