Morgan Stanley Roadmap Reveals Windows 8 Tablets To Come Q1 Of 2012

It’s all there in the title. Morgan Stanley’s analyst company has leaked a roadmap slide revealing that Q1 of 2012 should be when we, the public, will be seeing Windows 8 OS on a tablet. Windows 8 is Microsoft’s tablet-orientated operating system that according to Microsoft, will have a more Apple-like interface. The leaked roadmap also happens to fit with Dell’s roadmap version, and we can also assume that the Windows 8 tablet will be powered by an ARM architecture chipset. Late to the slate game, Microsoft has had to rely on the HP slate and Asus Eee slate with Windows 7, according to analyst Michael Gartenberg from Gartner research firm. At least now we know when to expect Windows 8 tablets and what Microsoft will be focusing on.
