Meizu M9: Gingerbread & Amazing Quadrant Score
The Meizu M9 is supposedly getting a Gingerbread 2.3 update before the end of this month, according to M8 Cool. Not only that, but there are some pretty impressive Quadrant benchmark scores from the 2.3 update to the M9, images of which you can see after the break. To refresh your memory, the M9 is a viable Galaxy S / iPhone competitor – at the very least in China, and certainly you can’t rule out internationally – with its 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 960 x 640 and runs Android 2.2, to go along with a 5-megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video recording. It’s powered by the same processor as the Galaxy S – the Samsung S5PC110 and runs Android 2.2.
