Woody Ears – Wood In Your Ears
With metal, rubber, copper, glass, plastic, and whatever else used in creating the ever increasing mass of tech devices out there – we seem to of forgotten about good ol’ nature. Why chop a tree down to fuel a machine that makes things out of metal when you can chop a tree down and use it directly instead (just joking – do NOT chop down any trees!). These Woody Ears concept earphones have taken the eco-friendly attitude by designing earbuds with wooden covers – something different even amongst the crazy options already out there – so you’re certainly not going to get barked at by eco-activists. Oh wait, you might – who knows how many trees it takes to make one set of these. Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 33, but at least it is a renewable source. Another interesting aspect to the set is its volume controller – you manipulate the volume by twisting the controller instead of the traditional push of a button. This is one good way to get rooted into your music.
